a)     Entry Requirements

i.      Five O’ Level requirements with credit in English Language and at least a Pass in Mathematics

ii.     At least a Second Class honors degree in Local Government and Development Studies, or from the Social Sciences, Public Administration and Management Sciences.

iii.   A third Class honors degree from a recognized institution with 5 year post graduation experience.

iv.   Post graduate Diploma in the Management Sciences, Public Administration and Social Sciences are eligible for admission provided it is obtained not less than three years of graduation.

b)    Course Duration

Students on this programme are required to complete a minimum of four semesters (24 months) before the final assessment for the degree. The maximum period within which students are required to complete this programme is 36 months.

c)     Graduation Requirements

Candidates are required to pass all prescribed courses. Also, candidates are required to write and submit an approved project.
