a)    Entry Requirements

M.Sc. Policy and Development Studies, M.Sc. Public Administration, M.Phil. Public Administration and Policy and Development Studies, M.A Local Government Studies, M.Sc. Political Science, Economics, Sociology and with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.

b)    Course Duration

This programme takes a maximum period of 60 months to complete, including one year course work and Presentation of Seminar Papers.

c)     Graduation Requirements

The award of PhD (Policy and Development Studies) degree is conditional upon passing the prescribed courses. Also, candidates are required to write and defend a thesis before the panel of examiners (Oral Defence)
